Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
Potatomaker is operated by Joakim Billingskog. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don’t, please don’t use it.
What this is
Potatomaker is a campaign management tool that connects to your advertising accounts (like Google Ads) via their official APIs and lets you manage them through AI assistants. It’s currently in an invite-only beta. That means it’s a work in progress — functional, but not finished. You’re an early user, not a paying customer, and you should treat it accordingly.
What Potatomaker does and doesn’t do
Potatomaker is a pass-through tool. It connects to your existing ad accounts on your behalf, reads data, and can make changes when you or an AI assistant instructs it to. It doesn’t own your data. It doesn’t claim any rights over your campaigns. Your advertising data belongs to you and to the ad platforms you use.
We don’t sell your data. We don’t use it to train AI models. We don’t share it with anyone except the infrastructure providers necessary to run the service (see the Privacy Policy for details on those).
Your responsibilities
You’re responsible for your account and everything that happens in it. That includes:
- Making sure you actually have the right to connect any ad accounts you link. If you manage accounts for clients, that’s on you to sort out with them.
- Reviewing changes before they go out. Potatomaker has guardrails and approval flows, but you’re the one with access to real ad budgets. The final call is always yours.
- Following the terms of the ad platforms you connect (Google Ads policies, etc.). Potatomaker can’t protect you from consequences if you use it to do something those platforms don’t allow.
Limitation of liability — the important part
Potatomaker is provided as-is, during an active beta period. It will have bugs. Things will break. Occasionally something unexpected will happen.
To be direct about it: we are not liable for changes made to your ad accounts through Potatomaker, whether those were initiated by you, by an AI assistant, or by an automated skill. We’re not liable for ad spend, budget changes, or any financial outcome resulting from actions taken through the platform. We’re not liable for the accuracy of any AI-generated analysis, forecast, or recommendation — those are informational, not guarantees.
We’re also not liable for disruptions caused by third-party APIs (Google Ads, Railway, Anthropic) going down, changing their behavior, or revoking access.
Our total liability for anything arising from your use of Potatomaker is capped at whatever you’ve paid us. During the free beta, that’s zero.
This isn’t us trying to be slippery — it’s just the honest reality of what a one-person beta tool can reasonably stand behind.
Shutting down your account
You can leave whenever you want. When you close your account, your OAuth connections are revoked and your data is deleted within 30 days. That deletion is permanent.
We can also suspend or remove accounts that abuse the service or use it in ways that violate ad platform policies.
Changes to these terms
If we make significant changes, we’ll let you know via email before they kick in. Continuing to use the service after that counts as acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Swedish law.
