Does AI recommend your brand — or your competitor's?

People ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini what to buy. The AI gives one answer — not ten links. Check where your brand stands, for your specific audience.

What you get

See how AI recommends brands in your category — by audience.

AI recommendations change dramatically depending on who's asking. A budget buyer gets completely different brands than a premium buyer. This tool shows you exactly what each AI platform recommends — and whether your brand is in the answer.

AI visibility by audience

Three AI platforms answer category questions — without hearing your brand name. You pick the audience: budget buyer, premium buyer, eco-conscious, or beginner.

Platform-by-platform breakdown

See which AI recommended you, which recommended your competitors, and whether you were suggested, mentioned, or completely absent.

AI-generated insight

A summary connecting the dots — why you're visible or invisible, and what you can do about it.

How it works

Enter your brand. Pick your audience. See who AI recommends.

We ask Perplexity, Claude, and Gemini for recommendations in your category — without mentioning your brand. We check if they mention you organically. Takes about 15 seconds.

Your brand + competitors

Add your brand, a few competitors, and your category. Then pick who's asking — budget buyer, premium buyer, eco-conscious, or just “anyone.”

2

Three AIs answer blind

Each AI gets a category question without your brand name. We parse every response to find which brands get mentioned, suggested, or recommended.

One report, shareable link

AI visibility by platform. An AI insight connecting the dots. Share the link with your team.

What shapes AI recommendations

AI doesn't make it up. It draws from specific sources.

AI models build their recommendations from training data and real-time web search. The sources that matter most are public discussions, encyclopedic content, and expert publications. All of these can be influenced.

Reddit & community discussions

Organic conversations on Reddit are the most frequently cited source in AI-generated recommendations.

Wikipedia

Having a Wikipedia page significantly increases the chance of being mentioned. AI treats it as a trust signal.

Expert content with data

Articles that include original statistics and expert quotes are more likely to be cited by AI models.

Brand search volume

Brands that people actively search for on Google are more likely to appear in AI recommendations.

FAQ

Questions & answers

How does this work?+

We send category-level questions to three AI platforms without mentioning any brand. Then we check which brands each AI mentions in its response. Takes about 15 seconds.

Is it really free?+

Yes. No signup, no credit card, no limits. We plan to offer paid weekly monitoring later, but the snapshot tool will always be free.

What does the audience selector do?+

AI recommendations change significantly depending on who's asking. A budget buyer gets completely different brands than a premium buyer. The audience selector lets you see how AI recommends for YOUR specific customer.

Why don't you mention my brand in the questions?+

That's the point. We test if AI recommends you organically — the way a real consumer would experience it. If we asked about your brand by name, the AI would always mention it.

Which AI platforms do you check?+

Perplexity (with web search grounding), Claude (Anthropic), and Google Gemini. Each gives different recommendations based on their training data and search capabilities.

How can I improve my AI visibility?+

The main drivers are Reddit presence, Wikipedia, expert content with original research, and review sites. Once you know the gap, you know what to create.

Can I track this over time?+

Not yet. We're building weekly monitoring with automated reports. Leave your email on the results page to get notified.
